  Aug 2015 I lost my home due to a total loss fire. Shelter Insurance was right there to get me and my family back up on our feet. They made a very horrible situation better. Doug Hawkins agency in Gainesville has a friendly feelung and they make you feel like family. They are fast, reliable and helpful.

  Doug has been amazing with meeting my family's need with insurance. We have switched most of our insurance to him Shelter because of him. He is quick to answer any questions and is always available. He gives you the straight truth and doesn't just "want to make a sale" as has been my previous experience with other companies. We plan on switching our home insurance as well once our current plan runs out. It is a breath of fresh air to have an agent that is actually there for his customers. The shelter ap is convenient, the agent is convenient, and the product is true! It is nice to have an office close as well. I am happy that we finally found a one stop shop that actually FITS ALL of our needs. I was also very impressed with the option for kids life insurance. That is also something we are looking into for the future. Ever since he took over the Gainesville office, it seems to me that Shelter DOES care about the small town people here. I don't think I'll ever switch because of that! Thank you Mr. Hawkins for making my family secure for the future that we can afford!
